Rare #8 Nevada Mine Turquoise Set In Layered Sterling and Fine Silver w/Chain

I'm in love with this gorgeous and high-quality stone that I was blessed to acquire. It comes from the aacclaimed #8 Mine in Nevada. A stone from this mine is highly sought after and rare because of the gorgeous spider webbing matrix in the turquoise, and because of the fact that the mine is no longer producing stone. I was so happy to secure a couple of pieces from this mine.  
 
I think silver and gold looks amazing with high quality turquoise, so I handcrafted this setting in layered sterling and fine silver with an added 14K gold accent at the bottom of the setting. The pendant measures 34mm x 24mm , and I’ve added a beautiful, high-quality, 18 inch, sterling wheat chain completes the look.
